Firstly, who are we?
We’re a team of two local people passionate about aviation and especially the happenings in the Channel Islands including with Aurigny and Blue Islands.
Why have we started this website?
Initially we started putting out updates via a word document on Twitter, and whilst it was good to start with, we felt like moving it online would allow us to appeal to a larger audience and add more features that the word document just wouldn’t allow for. So in April 2025 we started working on this website and this is the result!
Does any airline/airport run this?
No, we run this site completely independently and aren’t controlled by any airline or other such operator.
What are our plans?
We aim to keep this website updated as best we can throughout the year, just like we have with the word document, but now on a larger platform that allows us more opportunities and exciting capabilities. By moving online it has given us the options to add much more pages, including a news feed so we can report on interesting aviation stories without the character limits of Twitter and the like.
What about the Twitter updates?
We don’t have any plans to stop posting updates on there, we still believe it’s the best way to get recent, breaking news out to you. Especially, when an event doesn’t warrant an article in its own right. However, there will be some updates on here that won’t necessarily make it on the Twitter account like some of the data we post!
How do you know all this?
We source our information from websites like flightradar24, planespotters.net, Airport Coordination Ltd, the CAA, GDS data, airline websites, news sites, airport websites, experience, contacts and some other third party websites/sources. Oh and the occasional educated guess!
