G-OAUR

G-OAUR was the first Dornier 228 to be delivered new from Dornier. It’s named after the airline’s callsign ICAO code “AUR”. It arrived in December 2015 and was the replacement for the trislander aircraft on the Guernsey – Alderney route. It flew alongside G-LGIS until its retirement in 2020. It does not require any cabin crew but is flown by two pilots. It’s due to be replaced by two/three dry leased Twin Otter aircraft mostly due to the difficulties finding parts for the aircraft which is one of very few in service.
