G-PBOT

G-PBOT was the last of Aurigny’s new leased ATRs to be delivered and is named after Petit Bot beach in Guernsey. It’s leased from Nordic Aviation Capital and was one of two ATRs brought in to replace the E195 jet. Unlike the ‘GO’ series of aircraft delivered in 2019/2020 it is not equipped with the EVS system but it is equipped with a full passenger oxygen system. It was delivered in a basic Avianca scheme with the airline’s titles removed. It’s due to be repainted some time in the winter 2025/2026 period.

Similar to its sister ships G-PEMB and G-ISLP, it spent the majority of its service life in South America before being withdrawn from use in November 2021, when Avianca, the operator, chose to streamline its operations during bankruptcy proceedings in the United States and removed its entire ATR turboprop fleet.
