Aurigny Air Services is the flag carrier of Guernsey and was founded in 1968. It is wholly owned by the States of Guernsey since nationalisation in 2003 and is the largest operator on the island.
The airline, based at Guernsey Airport (GCI), operates a mixed fleet of five ATR 72-600s and two Dornier 228s. It previously operated a sole Embraer 195 aircraft, but it was withdrawn from service in May 2024 and replaced by two ‘new’ leased ATR 72-600s with one from Jetstream Aviation Capital and another from Nordic Aviation Capital.
It serves routes primarily between the Channel Islands, the UK, and seasonal European destinations and maintains lifeline links to Alderney, London Gatwick and Southampton. It operates a codeshare agreement with Blue Islands on the Southampton route.

Aurigny has announced plans to withdraw the two Dornier 228NG aircraft from use, with a provisional date set for 2026. They are expected to be replaced by two or three damp leased Twin Otters from a large operator of the aircraft. They will be operated by Aurigny crew and be painted in the Aurigny livery.
An Eastern Airways ATR 72, Avanti Air Dash 8-Q400, or Titan Airways A320 is often wet-leased to provide operational cover.
